More services on board
Following a survey in 2016 in which visitors mentioned a lack of wifi in train cars, the government and the railway company then instituted more wide-use wireless internet options on Shinkansen bullet trains, allowing for more convenient travel across the country, be it with a Japan Rail Pass or a ticket to Japan's most essential destinations.
