Transportation in Tokyo is organized with 2 subway companies and many railway companies. The main railway company is JR East.
The JR Yamanote Line and the JR Chuo Sobu Line are covered by the Japan Rail Pass.
Tokyo stations

Tokyo Pass
If you stay in Tokyo, you may need a prepaid PASMO or SUICA Card to travel around and especially in the subway and in the non JR lines.
Please note that the line to access to the Stadium is not covered by the Japan Rail Pass.

Access to Tokyo stadium
Tokyo Stadium is in fact the Ajinomoto Stadium in Chofu.
To access to the Stadium you will have to go to Shinjuku Station.
In Shinjuku Station, take the Keio Line from to Tobitakyu (Ajinomoto Stadium) Station.
The stadium is 5 minutes' walk from Tobitakyu (Ajinomoto Stadium) Station.
